About the Retreat

This meditation retreat in India offers a rare opportunity to step away from everyday stimulation and enter deeply into silence, awareness, Inner Sound, and direct experience.

Participants may choose a 10-day, 21-day, or 40-day retreat according to their experience, readiness, and available time.

Patrick's own path was profoundly shaped by an extended 40-day period of fasting and meditation in India. This intensive period deepened the inner realization and practices that later became part of Sekhem All-Love.

Inner Sound Meditation

Inner Sound Meditation is a practice of turning awareness away from external noise and listening within.

As the body settles and the mind becomes quieter, awareness may begin to recognize subtle inner vibration, tone, silence, presence, and the continuous current of consciousness.

The practice is not about imagining a sound or forcing an experience. It is an invitation to become deeply receptive and listen to what is already present beneath ordinary mental activity.

Darkroom Practice

Darkroom practice reduces external visual stimulation and offers a protected environment for deeper inward attention.

The darkness is approached as a sacred space of stillness, rest, sensitivity, and inner illumination — not as something frightening or something to conquer.

Periods of darkroom practice will be introduced with guidance and respect for each participant's readiness.

Daily Rhythm

The retreat may include:

  • Early rising
  • Extended morning meditation
  • Inner Sound Meditation
  • Shenu Meditation
  • Conscious breathing
  • Periods of silence
  • Guided darkroom practice
  • Gentle movement and energy awareness
  • Personal meditation and rest
  • Daily support and guidance
  • Occasional evening meditation or group activity
  • Light, supportive nourishment and golden milk when included in the confirmed retreat program
  • Reduced external communication to support inward focus

The rhythm will build gradually. Participants are not expected to force extreme meditation hours, sleep reduction, fasting, or altered states.

The 10-Day Retreat

The 10-day option offers a focused introduction to the retreat environment and its central practices.

Participants can begin developing a daily rhythm of silence, Inner Sound Meditation, conscious breath, energy awareness, and guided inward practice.

This option may be appropriate for those entering an extended silent retreat for the first time or those unable to attend for a longer period.

The 21-Day Retreat

The 21-day option allows the practices to deepen beyond the introductory stage.

With more time away from ordinary routines and external stimulation, participants can develop greater continuity in meditation, move through deeper layers of physical, emotional, and mental experience, and allow more space for integration.

The 40-Day Retreat

The 40-day option is the deepest immersion.

It offers an extended period for silence, meditation, Inner Sound, darkroom practice, conscious breath, self-observation, and direct spiritual inquiry to become the central rhythm of daily life.

This option is intended for those who feel sincerely called to a prolonged period of inward focus and who are prepared for the discipline, simplicity, and intensity of an extended retreat.

Program Focus

Across all three retreat lengths, the central intention remains the same:

  • To move from external stimulation toward inner listening
  • To deepen meditation through continuity and simplicity
  • To become more aware of the living energy within the body
  • To allow physical, emotional, and mental patterns to be witnessed
  • To explore silence without forcing an outcome
  • To recognize presence beyond thought and personal identity
  • To enter the direct experience of All-Love

Preparation and Important Information

This is an intensive meditation environment. Interested participants are warmly invited to communicate directly with the organizers before confirming participation, so the retreat length, preparation, personal needs, and suitability can be discussed privately.
