Preparing for Your Sekhem All-Love Experience

A Journey Into Love, Awareness, and Inner Presence

WhatsAppEmailSMS

We are delighted that you are joining us.

These days together are an invitation to turn your attention inward, reconnect with yourself, and discover a deeper experience of love, awareness, and presence.

During the workshop, we may explore meditation, movement, breathwork, emotional awareness, inner silence, and the natural unfolding of consciousness.

There is nothing you need to achieve, prove, or become. You are welcome exactly as you are.

Your preparation begins before you arrive. By setting aside unnecessary distractions, taking care of your body, and making a sincere commitment to the experience, you create an opportunity to be fully present.

Please read the following guidelines carefully.

You are welcome exactly as you are.

Four Essential Workshop Commitments

Participants arriving together in a light-filled meditation hall

Full Participation and Punctuality

Read the guidelines

Your commitment to the entire workshop is extremely important. Each day builds upon the previous day. The process of meditation, awareness, emotional integration, and group connection continues throughout the workshop.

For a four-day workshop, we strongly encourage participants to commit to all four days. Your presence supports not only your own experience but also the shared experience of the group.

If difficulties arise, or you need to leave early, please speak privately with the facilitator. Participants always retain the freedom to pause or withdraw when necessary. Your presence matters.

  • Arrive on time every morning.
  • Attend every scheduled workshop day.
  • Stay for the complete daily program.
  • Avoid conflicting appointments and unnecessary outside activities.
  • Return promptly from breaks.
  • Make these days a priority in your life.

A Completely Phone-Free Workshop Space

Read the guidelines

No cell phones are permitted inside the workshop meditation room. This is one of our most important guidelines.

A phone on silent or vibrate is not the same as a phone that is completely turned off. We have experienced interruptions from phones ringing during meditation. Even one ringing phone can disrupt a deeply peaceful experience for the entire group.

For these few days, give yourself permission to disconnect from technology. Your messages can wait. Your social media can wait. Your daily distractions can wait whenever possible. This is your time to be present.

Participants who must remain reachable for genuine emergencies should arrange an appropriate contact method with the organizers beforehand.

  • Turn your cell phone completely OFF before entering.
  • Leave the phone outside the workshop room.
  • Preferably leave it secured in your car.
  • Arrange storage with the workshop team if necessary.
  • Avoid using phones during daytime breaks.
  • Reconnect with messages and calls after the day’s workshop has finished.

A Substance-Free Experience

Read the guidelines

Sekhem All-Love encourages natural awareness without the use of intoxicating or consciousness-altering substances. We strongly discourage alcohol, recreational drugs, cannabis and THC products, psychedelic substances, and other recreational intoxicants or mind-altering substances.

This recommendation applies before the workshop, throughout the entire workshop, during evenings between sessions, and after the workshop while integrating the experience. Participants must not attend workshop sessions under the influence of intoxicating substances.

The intention of Sekhem All-Love is to experience your natural state of awareness without depending on external substances to alter consciousness. We invite you to experience your emotions, sensations, inner silence, and spiritual awareness naturally. There is no need to take anything to enhance your experience. Come as you are.

Important medical guidance: This recommendation does not prohibit prescribed medications taken as directed or medically necessary treatment. Participants should never stop or change prescribed medication without consulting their healthcare professional. Anyone at risk of withdrawal from alcohol or other substances should seek medical guidance before stopping abruptly.

Adults in comfortable modest ivory and teal linen clothing

    Comfortable, Loose-Fitting, Modest Clothing

    Read the guidelines

Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that provides good coverage of the body. During the workshop, we may be sitting, lying down, moving, breathing, dancing, and practicing meditation. Your clothing should allow you to move freely, relax completely, and feel comfortable.

Please avoid very tight or restrictive clothing, revealing clothing, very short clothing, transparent clothing, and clothing that exposes large areas of the body.

These guidelines apply equally to everyone. The intention is to create a comfortable, respectful atmosphere where participants can focus on their inner experience rather than their physical appearance. Simplicity, comfort, and modesty are encouraged.

    • Loose-fitting trousers.
    • Soft, comfortable shirts.
    • Clothing covering the shoulders, chest, abdomen, and upper legs.
    • Breathable fabrics.
    • Comfortable layers for changing temperatures.

    What to Bring

Gather a few simple things to help you feel comfortable and at ease throughout the workshop.

    Physical Preparation

    Physical Preparation

Rest and Sleep: A good night’s sleep is very important. Please get adequate sleep before arriving and throughout the workshop. During the four days, go to bed early, avoid late-night socializing and unnecessary screen time, allow time for rest and integration, and arrive refreshed and ready for the following day.

The workshop may involve extended meditation, movement, breathwork, and emotional awareness. Being rested can help you remain attentive and comfortable.

Nutrition and Hydration: Eat nourishing, balanced meals and drink sufficient water. Avoid excessive eating immediately before intensive movement or breathwork. Avoid extreme fasting or restrictive diets unless medically appropriate and supervised. Respect your individual nutritional and medical needs. Specialized 40-day retreat nutritional protocols are separate from ordinary workshop preparation.

Physical Wellbeing: Please communicate relevant accessibility, mobility, or health needs privately to the organizers. Everyone should feel free to take appropriate breaks and request assistance when necessary.

    Emotional Preparation

    Emotional Preparation

Sekhem All-Love is an invitation to experience yourself with greater openness and awareness. During the workshop, different emotions may arise. These can include joy, sadness, grief, love, anger, fear, tenderness, peace, and stillness.

There is no need to force emotional release. There is no need to suppress emotions. There is no need to compare your experience with anyone else’s. Each person’s experience is unique.

The invitation is to allow what arises naturally, with awareness, compassion, and respect for your own boundaries. If you feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable, pause and ask a facilitator for support.

    Mental Preparation

    Mental Preparation

Approach the workshop with an open mind and a willingness to experience something new.

The intention is not to force the mind into silence. It is to discover greater awareness and presence.

    1. Release unnecessary expectations.
    2. Avoid comparing yourself with others.
    3. Set aside daily concerns when possible.
    4. Become comfortable with silence.
    5. Allow thoughts to come and go naturally.
    6. Experience rather than constantly analyze.
    7. Be patient with yourself.

    Spiritual Preparation

    Spiritual Preparation

The essence of Sekhem All-Love is the natural experience of love and awareness. The workshop is not about becoming someone different. It is an invitation to discover what is already present within you.

Depending on the workshop, practices may include Shenu Meditation, Inner Sound or Sound of the Soul, All-Love Breathwork, movement and dance, silence and stillness, partner and group practices, emotional awareness and integration, non-dual awareness, surrender and presence.

No previous spiritual or meditation experience is required. You do not need to create extraordinary experiences. Simply remain open to your own natural process.

In Shenu Meditation, Heaven and Earth are invited to meet in the spiritual heart. Inner Sound offers a doorway into silent awareness. These are invitations to direct experience, not achievements to measure or compare.

    Participant Agreement & Permissions

Please read this agreement before your workshop. Your photo and recording choice is separate and never affects your participation.

    1. Welcome and nature of the practice

Sekhem All-Love is an experiential spiritual practice focused on heart-centered awareness, unconditional love and personal exploration. Sessions may include meditation, movement, sound, breath practices, stillness and group or individual processes.

Participants may experience strong emotions, laughter, tears, physical sensations, personal insight, silence or no particular response. Every experience is individual. No particular physical, emotional, spiritual or healing result is promised or guaranteed.

    2. Medical and psychological disclaimer

Sekhem All-Love is offered for personal, educational and spiritual exploration. It is not medical care, psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, diagnosis or a substitute for professional healthcare. Facilitators do not diagnose, treat or prescribe for physical or mental health conditions.

Some practices may feel physically or emotionally intense. Participants are responsible for deciding whether and how to participate, communicating their limitations, and modifying or stopping an activity when needed.

If you have a significant medical condition, are pregnant, have recently had surgery or injury, have a history of fainting or seizures, or have concerns about intensive emotional or breath-based practices, consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating.

Do not stop or change prescribed medication for the purpose of participating without guidance from your licensed healthcare professional.

If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis or another condition that could make intensive participation unsafe, seek appropriate professional care. This event does not replace that care.

Discuss relevant limitations or accommodation needs privately with the facilitator. In an emergency, facilitators may contact emergency services or your emergency contact.

    3. Consent, touch and personal boundaries

Participation is voluntary. You may decline an activity, pause, rest, request space or stop at any time.

Touch is never assumed. Hugs, holding, supportive touch and hands-on contact require clear consent. You may say yes, no, stop or not now, and change your mind at any time. Consent to one kind of touch does not imply consent to another.

No participant is required to share personal information publicly, adopt a belief or accept another person’s interpretation of their experience.

    4. Confidentiality and respectful conduct

You may share your own experience, but keep other participants’ personal stories, identities, disclosures and processes private. Confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in a group setting. Facilitators may disclose information when required by law or necessary to respond to an immediate safety concern.

Respect each person’s experience without diagnosing, pressuring, judging or presenting interpretations as facts.

Emotional expression is welcome within safe boundaries. Violence, threats, harassment, discrimination, sexualized touch, sexual activity, coercion and unwanted attention are not permitted during class activities.

During designated Sekhem All-Love practices, do not introduce other healing methods, rituals, substances or interventions without facilitator approval.

Do not participate while impaired by alcohol, recreational drugs or non-prescribed intoxicating substances.

    5. Personal responsibility and support

Remain attentive to your physical limits, emotional needs and personal boundaries. Follow reasonable safety instructions and ask for support when needed.

If you need to leave the practice room, tell a facilitator when possible so the team knows you are safe.

If you are considering leaving the event entirely, please speak directly with Patrick Zeigler, or the lead facilitator if Patrick is unavailable, when reasonably possible. This conversation is intended to offer support and help with a safe transition. It does not remove your right to stop or leave.

Ordinary risks can accompany movement, breath practices, emotional group work, travel, lodging and retreat activities. This acknowledgment does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived.

    7. Participant recording and devices

Do not photograph, record, livestream, screenshot or post another participant’s image, voice, sharing or personal process without their explicit permission and any required organizer approval.

Keep devices silent and respect any designated recording-free areas or periods.

    8. Concerns and safety

If you experience unwanted touch, harassment, intimidation, a boundary violation or unsafe conduct, contact a facilitator, host or designated safety contact.

Concerns should be addressed respectfully and without retaliation. Organizers may adjust activities or pairings, provide support or remove someone from an activity when necessary for safety.

    Give Yourself These Days

For these few days, allow yourself to put the outside world aside.

Your phone can wait. Your messages can wait. Your everyday responsibilities can wait whenever possible.

Give yourself permission to rest. Give yourself permission to feel. Give yourself permission to be present.

You do not need to become anything. You do not need to create a special experience.

Simply arrive, open your heart, and allow yourself to discover what unfolds naturally.

Come as you are. Welcome to Sekhem All-Love.
