What is Sekhem?
A way of being present that has to be tasted
Sekhem All-Love is an experiential spiritual path centred on meditation, breath, inner sound and the awakening of the heart. It grew out of Patrick Zeigler's own search and has been taught internationally for more than four decades.
You do not need to adopt a belief system, join anything, or leave your own tradition behind. The work asks something simpler and harder: that you pay attention.

The terrain
Eight words that people ask about
Each of these is a doorway rather than a definition. Read them lightly.
Spiritual awakening
Not an event to achieve, but a gradual clarifying: the sense of being a separate, defended self becomes less convincing, and life feels closer.
The heart
The heart is treated as an organ of perception as much as of feeling. Much of the practice is simply attention resting there.
Meditation
Sitting quietly, without a task. Nothing is forced, nothing is banished. Practices are offered as invitations, never prescriptions.
Energy and consciousness
The word Sekhem is often rendered as power or vital force. In practice it points to something felt rather than measured — aliveness, presence, intensity of attention.
Inner sound
Many people become aware of subtle sound when attention turns inward. Listening to it can steady the mind and open a different quality of stillness.
Breath
Breath links body, feeling and awareness. Working with it gently can allow emotion to move and attention to widen.
Non-duality
The recognition that awareness and what appears in it are not two separate things. This is approached experientially, not as philosophy to adopt.
Direct experience
Everything above is offered as a description of terrain, not a promise. Your own experience is the only authority in this work.
The four bodies
Physical, emotional, mental, spiritual
Select a ring or a name to explore how each is met in practice.
The body that breathes, aches, rests and knows.
Practice begins where you already are: in sensation, posture, tiredness, warmth. Nothing is bypassed. Attention returns to the body again and again, not to fix it, but to be present with it.
These four are described as one continuous life, not four separate selves. What is noticed in each differs from person to person — and from one sitting to the next.
Please note
Experiences differ, and that is not a problem
One person weeps; another feels warmth in the hands; another notices nothing unusual for a long time and then finds ordinary life subtly changed. None of these is more correct.
Sekhem All-Love is an experiential spiritual practice. It is not medical care, psychotherapy or a treatment for any condition, and no cure or guaranteed outcome is offered.
If you are managing a health condition, please continue working with your own healthcare professional and consult them before intensive practice.
