Receiving the Different Vibrations of Energy
Sharing: Growing up in a household that felt unbearable, I sometimes prayed either for God to take me or to take a parent, as though one of us needed to be removed from the situation. I did not commit suicide. In my life today, I feel like a zombie, going through the actions without feeling much and numbing out. Part of me feels that this is where I want to stay.
The effects of energy work can sometimes be unexpected. The previous practice had activated a very refined energy vibration, and the experience could become deeply transcendental. When the body and mind relax into receiving, it is possible to enter a timeless state.
Sharing: I loved recognizing that we all have energy, and that everybody had a different vibration. One person’s energy felt like a buzzing sensation. With other people, I felt love, or different kinds of pressure and movement. It was wonderful to experience those differences. As I relaxed and received, after the second round I began to feel energy within myself. I started breathing a little more, and I felt the circle grow stronger and stronger. I felt something coming up from the Earth. Nothing dramatic happened with it, but I felt it. Then, when we went around again, it became stronger. I felt a little out of it, but it was good.
