Sekhem: Inner Sound and Darkroom Practice in Sekhem All Love | India teaching, Sekhem All-Love title artwork

Explore inward listening, heart-centred connection, darkroom preparation and caring for the body while allowing experience to unfold without expectation. Read gently.

This teaching introduces Inner Sound as a gentle inward listening practice within Sekhem All Love. It explores darkroom practice, heart-centred connection, practical preparation, nourishment, communication and caring for the body while allowing experience to unfold without expectation.

Sharing: Listening Without Strain

Inner Sound is a fine, steady tone noticed inwardly. It is described as the divine inner sound, and as a vehicle toward the qualities of the soul and silent awareness.

The practice begins simply. Let the body be comfortable and allow breathing to remain natural. Receive the sound that is already apparent, without straining to make it louder or searching for a special frequency. The All-Love mantra can support attention before listening becomes clear.

As attention settles, the emphasis moves from holding on to a sound toward receiving the quality of the experience. Quiet, tenderness or spaciousness may arise. At other times there may be thought, restlessness or no distinct tone. None of these needs to become a test of progress.
