Sekhem Inner Sound, Natural Breath, and Embodied Awakening

Sekhem Inner Sound, Natural Breath, and Embodied Awakening

Explore staying with inner sound, allowing emotional release, following natural breath, and bringing source experience into embodied life. Read the teaching gently.

Listen to the inner sound, stay with the sound rather than the images it evokes, and let the breath remain relaxed and flowing. These Sekhem teachings explore recognising recurring patterns, allowing emotional release, and the possibility that a search for healing may also open into awakening.

Sharing: Inner Sound, Breath and Embodiment

Teacher: Patrick Zeigler.

Sharing: Focusing on the breath could bring a fear of not being able to breathe. During All Love meditation, breathing in “All” and breathing out “Love,” attention sometimes wandered, and there were moments of sleep and dreaming. Later, attention settled on cricket-like sounds and other sounds appearing on either side. For a brief moment, the experience became like a forceful waterfall, very loud and full of vibration, yet blissful and peaceful.

The mind interprets spiritual experience through what it already knows of the world. It does not understand the flow of energy or timelessness, so it gives these experiences familiar images. A flow of energy may become a waterfall because that is something the mind can relate to.

There is the physical body, and there is the soul body. The soul body is pure energy. When the mind cannot comprehend that directly, it may interpret the experience as “I am a waterfall,” or create another image it understands.

This is an expansion of consciousness into other dimensions, but it is not the final step. The final step is the void. Beyond even these experiences, there is simply space, pure consciousness of love.
