The Journey of Sekhem to All Love
It all began in a healing school where I was immersed in various forms of bodywork and hypnotherapy. During my time there, I noticed that when I worked with people, it wasn't just the physical techniques that made a difference; it was this significant energy shift that would occur. Every Saturday, the school hosted an open house, allowing me to demonstrate what I was learning, and I found myself naturally gravitating towards energy work.
Eventually, I attended two different schools: one in New Mexico and another in California. In California, a friend who practiced channeling remarked to me, 'Oh, you’re doing this Egyptian type of healing.' At that moment, it struck me deeply; I had indeed developed a strong connection to the energy I experienced in Egypt, particularly within the pyramids. Little did my friend know about my background and that connection.
During my studies, I was also introduced to the Reiki framework, which incorporated symbols and teachings. However, there were aspects of that journey that felt misaligned for me. I learned to trust my intuition, which led me to a pivotal realization. In meditation, a word emerged within me: Sekhem. This word resonated profoundly, even though I had never encountered it before and didn’t yet understand its meaning. I experienced a moment of clarity, a voice guiding me to embrace this new path.
Yet, the challenge arose from the ambiguity of English as a language, the letters and sounds were often overlapping, creating potential confusion. For example, letters like 'C' and 'K' could sound the same, and even 'P' and 'F' could merge phonetics in certain contexts. As I navigated this profound journey, the importance of trusting one's intuition became clearer. This brought me to deeply reflect on how the word Sekhem might be perceived differently in other languages, such as Portuguese, where the pronunciation diverges significantly from English.
