Sekhem All Love: Commitment and Support

A strong commitment is important in an All Love intensive. Things may come up that you do not like. The work is about what is inside you. Support is available, and the teacher helps the process along, but the experience can be very intense.
Completing the intensive is important. At the same time, everyone has free choice. If you feel unable to complete it, that choice remains yours. The requirement is to speak with the teacher if you have doubts or feel that you want to leave.
There is a reason for this. Energetic changes can begin in the first session or on the first day. The energy that comes in is your own energy. It is not the teacher’s energy or anyone else’s. As things begin to surface, support becomes very important.
Not everyone understands how to work with this energy. Leaving means leaving the support available within the intensive. Support from people unfamiliar with the work may not help and could make things worse if they bring fear or project their own concerns onto the experience. This is why speaking with the teacher first matters.
When things inside you begin to come up, the first feeling may be to run away. Within this process, that urge can be a sign that the work is happening. Be aware of it, and bring it to the teacher rather than leaving without a conversation.
