Testing Claims About Pyramid Energy

A wish was fulfilled, and there was nothing more to it. The pyramid story reaches much further back.

When Patrick Zeigler began working in architecture, he felt that understanding energy, spiritual subjects, and sacred geometry could become part of his designs. He was especially interested in whether architecture could somehow affect consciousness.

Pyramids were often used to support claims of this kind. One claim was that an egg would not rot inside a pyramid. There is an important caution with claims like this. Egypt is extremely dry, and the climate itself helps preserve things. That is one reason so many mummies survived there.

To investigate the claim, Patrick made a pyramid, a cube, and a simple open structure. He cracked a raw egg into each one and left another egg outside. The egg outside rotted completely, with flies getting into it. The egg under the cube also rotted. Under the pyramid, however, the egg remained perfect.

That result immediately raised another question. Perhaps the result was being influenced by his own thought, because the outcome was what he wanted to see. He repeated the experiment and this time focused his attention on the egg under the cube, intending for it to stay good. The egg under the pyramid rotted, the egg outside rotted, and the egg under the cube remained good.

This made him consider more carefully what might really be happening. It did not settle the question, but it showed why an experiment must also examine the influence of attention and expectation.
