Sekhem: Self-Worth, Sobriety, and the Embodied Self
This teaching explores self-worth, sobriety, and the process of receiving the embodied self. It follows the release of false freedom, the movement of energy through the body, the release of sadness, and the choice to trust love, strength, and support.

Receiving the Embodied Self
## Receiving the True Self
Within the Sekhem All-Love practice, begin by asking what the person would like to receive. The answer may be the embodied divinity, the true self, or another expression of what is most deeply wanted. Allow the request to become specific before exploring the ways the person keeps that possibility small.
Question: “I’m so sick of keeping myself small compared to what I really could be.”
Response: The desired receiving is the embodied divinity, the true self, together with more self-trust and self-confidence.
Ask how the person keeps themselves small. In this sharing, the answers were alcohol, Pokémon Go, not putting themselves out there with their business, and not putting themselves out there for relationships.
Question: When asked about the game, the participant shared that they were at level seventy-four or seventy-five. This was their first time not playing Pokémon Go for four straight days, although they had tried playing for one day during that period. Their favourite was the original Mewtwo, although the Mega version was also considered very cool. They had even travelled to a major Pokémon Go event, where everyone who played with the event received a one-hundred-percent Pokémon.
The details show how an activity can become a separate world. Continue by asking how the person feels while doing it and whether that use serves what they truly want.
Sharing: “I come into a different world where I don’t have to think about things.”
Response: The activity works for what it is being used for, but it does not serve the deeper desires for an intimate relationship and a successful healing business. The movement toward those desires requires more self-trust and self-confidence.
